Chosen Angels Founder & Exec. Director
Dr. Cynthia ‘Big Mama’ Mendenhall is a lifetime resident of Watts who’s spent 30+ years serving her community. Big Mama has earned a Honorary Doctor of Humanity Degree, numerous accolades & national recognition from major sources like the New York Times. In Oct. ’21, Big Mama launched her non-profit, ‘Chosen Angels Inc.’, through which she plans to continue expanding her impact in communities.

ROC Era Founder, Writer & Director
Aurianna attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles & New York City, graduating in 2005. Equity actress, theatre director, social activist and youth advocate, her mission is to empower to at-risk youth in undeserved communities through the Arts. Aurianna founded R.O.C ERA believing that Regardless Of Color children deserve equal access to quality programs. Enjoy the Show!

JENNIFER BROWN
Musical Director
Jennifer is a classically trained vocalist & pianist with a Bachelor's of Arts in Music from Henderson State University. She's performed as a background singer for artists such as Kelly Clarkson; and was a lead vocalist in the choir during the 41st Peace Over Violence Awards & Brotherhood Crusade Awards Gala. Jennifer aims to create works of art for herself & other artists in music, TV, film & theatre.

BRYON SPAIN
Lead Musician & Arranger
Brian is a musician, composer, songwriter, arranger, mechanical engineer, software developer, inventor, animator, film maker, 3d modeler, graphic designer, arts and crafts specialist, and youth mentor. He attended Berklee College of Music where he studied Jazz & Gospel formally. Bryon teaches music to inner city youth in Watts and aspires to conduct extensive trainings that focus on music theory & principles.

FELICIA FAIRLEY
Lead Choreographer
Felicia graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Theatre & Broadcast Communication. You can find her in national commercials, on stage or entertaining children with her princess party company, Happy Light Entertainment. As a former Miss Compton, Felicia continues to be involved in helping to provide a platform for young women to showcase their community in a positive light.
